7th Edition Youth Empowerment Program: "Beyond Education"

On September 12, 2023, the Prince Michael Atobatele Foundation (PMAF) proudly hosted the 7th edition of its Summit and Empowerment Program at The Rembrandt Hotel, Ikeja. This event honors the memory of Prince Michael Atobatele, a beacon of hope and inspiration whose legacy continues to inspire us all.
The event began with a touching memorial service, celebrating the life and impact of Prince Michael Atobatele. Following this, the annual summit featured a range of activities designed to empower less privileged youths with essential tools and knowledge for their entrepreneurial journeys.
This years summit,tagged “Beyond Education,” provided invaluable support in various areas, including sewing machines, gas cylinders, and clippers, to empower beneficiaries in their respective fields. This year, the program equipped participants with the knowledge and tools to start their businesses, making dreams come true for many young individuals.

Since its inception in 2017, our Youth Empowerment Program has fostered self-reliance and community development among young people. To date, over 300 youths have been empowered with various resources, opportunities, and mentorship in their vocational skills, enabling them to start or further their businesses and contribute positively to society.

This year’s empowerment program reaffirms our mission to create opportunities for underprivileged youths, helping them transform their potential into tangible success.
