On June 23, 2025, the Prince Michael Atobatele Foundation (PMAF) hosted its 9th Annual Football Tournament at Campos Mini Memorial Stadium, Lagos, in celebration of what would have been Uzil’s 31st birthday.
What began nine years ago as a tribute to Prince Michael “Uzil” Atobatele has grown into a tradition that continues to bring people together through football, fellowship, and a shared commitment to community. This year’s tournament was no different.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came as Bamishe God FC secured their second consecutive championship title, becoming back-to-back winners of the tournament.
Their journey to victory reflected the resilience, teamwork, and passion that define this annual event. But beyond the trophies and scores, the tournament served a higher purpose: to honor a life that continues to inspire.
Uzil’s love for sport, his belief in the power of youth, and his unwavering dedication to uplifting others remain the heatbeat of PMAF’s mission.
